I posted about the idea on our blog earlier this week to gauge the interest of a coworking community and start-up friendly work place on Long Island. So far, we’ve seen a few excited people via Twitter and everyone seems to agree that it would be an awesome thing to have.

Also occurring this week, the “idea” gained a brand: Initialize

We hope to make Initialize an innovative coworking community in Long Island, NY that’s focused on start-up culture and building good offline relationships to supplement the online ones. Facebook, Twitter and all that are great, but nothing beats the interaction you get with real people in real life.

This tumblr is going to serve as our central repository for everything Initialize as we get going with the idea.
